Kolt and I started an tradition on our first anniversary of creating a "12 Months of Marriage". It is a list of the things we have accomplished or done over the past year of being married. We love creating these every year. It reminds us of our blessings and allows us to reflect on our memories together. Here's another 12 Months of Marriage:
12-Twelve hours spent anxiously getting ready for Uncle Tyler's arrival! It was so neat to let Tyler meet both of my kids. I can't believe I had two kids while he was on his mission, but it was great to meet them!
11-Eleven hikes this summer! Well, almost! Our kids love being outside, so we spent a lot of time this summer before Kolt starts school going on hikes and exploring different places in the area. We went to the Menan Butte, Memorial Hike, 17 Mile Cave, and more.
10-Ten hours a day of roping and riding horses with Kason! This kid loves these 2 things. Thank goodness for the wagon train trip and working ranch this summer, so Kason can really get some good hours in riding and roping.
9-Trips to the Zoo! Well, pretty close to 9 trips! Both of the kids love the zoo, so we go often!
8-Eight trips to Utah: Chris & Melanie Ransom's Wedding, Jazz Game/ Cousin Brady's Tennis Match/Villaneuva's Trip, Kolt's Villahermosa Mexico Mission Reunion, Cousin Devin Lindley's Mission Report, Kason's Trip to Great Grandma Lindley's house with Aunt Natalie & Brooke, the Earl & Marilyn Lindley Reunion at the Hobble Creek Home, Bear Lake Cabin for the Piquet/Harris Getaway, and the Wellsville Parade and Sham Battle in Logan.
7-Seven girls on my volleyball team. I just started my 4th year of coaching the freshman volleyball team at Bonneville High School. My kids love being in the gym, and I love helping the girls and getting to know them. I'm fortunate to have a great group of girls this year!
6-Six seasons of Drop Dead Diva!! We found this series on Netflix and loved it!
5-Five hours a day of holding our new baby girl. We have loved having Kolay join our family. She is such a sweet girl and loves playing with her brother. She is so happy!! We are grateful to call her ours.
4-Four new horses! Kolt worked with 4 horses this summer. He was busy!!!! Kason sure loves having horses around.
3-Three PA interviews! We spent much of this year applying to PA schools and accepting interviews. We were pretty proud of Kolt for getting interview offers from all of the schools he applied to. He only interviewed at 3 schools: Lock Haven University, Rocky Mountain Unversity, and Idaho State University.
2-Two beautiful kids who make us so happy! Kolay was born in December, and Kason turned 2 in July. Our lives are busy, but we love it!
1-One student in the family!! Kolt finished his Bachelors degree in Biology and started the PA Program at ISU. He has been a busy student!
